Honnppa H.Hadargeri, Katenhalli, Haveri, Dairy Farmer
Honnppa, an award-winning dairy farmer, has been running his dairy business for 3 years and produces compost manure as a means creating sustainable energy. Honnppa arranges fodder for his animals and has a rather large cow shed. His goal is to sell 100 liters of milk per day to the Karnataka Milk Federation (KMF) dairy factory. Being the largest producer of dairy products in his village, Honnppahas scope for business expansion, but first requires technical marketing training and 1 lakh rupees. Honnppa completed his education up to 10th standard.
